Braddah Kimo's Mo' Bettah Silvah Rum 40%:
A white rum with a sweet, youngish nose. Very
fresh and light with a hint of melon. The taste is very much like the nose;
sweet, fresh and easy. The finish is longer than expected. A drop of water
added does not change the rum, but nose, taste and finish will be stronger.
This rum is a mixer with a big potential. But apart from mixing the rum could be taken straight and ice cold to
marinated herring. Another suggestion could be to pour it over water melon
cut in small pieces. Not a bad dessert.

Braddah Kimo's Mo' Bettah Gold Rum 40%:
An interesting rum with the colour of apple juice. The nose is a bit spicy,
with a hint of dusty smoke. Sounds funny, but it is actually quite pleasant!
The taste is very much in line with the nose, and the finish surprisingly
long, with hints of vanilla and almonds in caramel. Adding a bit of water
gives a bit of liquorice on the nose.
Again a rum for mixing, but it should also be tried neat. And for dinner? Cool
the rum in the refrigerator, and serve it with fried fish.

Maui Dark Rum 40%:
Sweet and young on the nose, a bit like the Silvah, yet not quite
so intense. The taste has some bitterness, fading into a
short finish with bit of liquorice.
A mixing rum for Mai Tai or Cuba Libre.
